SUN-B May 21st Meeting Highlights Fall Prevention: Risks Interventions

Falls are the Leading Cause of Accidental, Death, Injury, and Hospital Trauma Admissions. They can occur at any age, but drastically rise after the age of 65. One out of three seniors fall – with 75% falling repeatedly. Join the Senior Umbrella Network of Brooklyn (SUN-B) as they welcome Perry Frankel, MD who will present a comprehensive and informative review on fall prevention and the risks associated with this major health challenge. Dr. Frankel will also be discussing Vestibular Testing, a state-of-the art non-invasive procedure which can diagnose the potential for falling. The seminar is open to the public and admission is free. Breakfast is included.
